I may get shot down for this but Fitz being captain isnt working at all...didnt see him bolloxing players or anything,trying to gee them up,asking ref about descisions.....we have struggled with a Capt since Swain retired....i would personally give it to Whiting.

The debate has been had for a number of years on here about what a captain needs to bring. My view was always that they need to lead by their actions rather than we vocal with team mates and the ref.



That's why i was always supportive of Radders being the captain when he was too.



Those fans that want a vocal captain slagged Radders off and now it appears aren't sure about one of the most respected players and captains ever to grace this planet being a good enough captain for FC.

Captain Kirk would struggle with this lot but not sure that a vocal captain doesn't work. Sinfield does a good job at Leeds and he never shuts up.

All types of captains/leaders work with the right dynamic of team, management etc etc.



I'm not overly fussed though if my captain isn't vocal on the pitch. Someone like Fitz doesn't need to be imo.

fitzy is more then fine for the job but all players espcially the senior guys need to step up, as for the coach well we all know what can happen to him
