They'd already confirmed this according to a radio show interview, so the fact that they are reitterating it makes me think two contrasting things. Either (a) they have been commited to this from the start and are just reaffirming this to the public or (b) the cynic in my says the radio show was a throwaway comment and they've only confirmed this now they have a club or two they believe they can make the step up.
Given that I trust the RFL about as much as I trust the Condem government I think the latter, but heres hoping that they do the right thing and promote us. |

Don't insult me like that!
We do have one thing in common though, we're both likely supporting teams who are going places. It's just, with any luck we'll be going to super league and they'll be going to the championship to join the back of the line for licenses. We'll see how some of the, erm, more arrogant fans who have been so heavily supportive of the system react to that one. |

That's a very good point. I spend a lot of my time digging out old posts to highlight people's earlier gaffes (usually Vikingman's)
I look forward to showing up the contradictions of the fans of the relegated club(s).
