Having just watched the first state of origin game I fear an Aussie whitewash later this year.
The RL they play is fast, fluid and incredible to watch.
I hope I’m wrong, but they currently look streets ahead.
Yeah I have watched a lot of NRL this year and the thing the strikes me is, that when rookies join a team they already look so well drilled and near complete. Where as over here, young players take a couple of years to get up to speed and look like kids. I think our better player and their better player are similar, but the scale slides very quickly for us but they're pretty much all the same standard
